The 'Fly Local, Feel Local' campaign for Long Island MacArthur Airport aimed to highlight the airport as both a stress-free gateway to destinations and a destination itself. Leveraging its small size and unique charm, the campaign featured vibrant illustrations of local landmarks, coastal scenes, and community life to connect travelers to the heart of Long Island.
The project included a cohesive collection of print and digital materials, such as posters, a mural, luggage tags, and an airport map, along with social media posts, interactive Reels, and geo-targeted ads. Together, these elements created a unified campaign that not only made travelers feel at home but also encouraged them to explore the beauty of Long Island.
Research into Long Island’s culture and landmarks informed the tagline Fly Local, Feel Local and guided the campaign’s visual identity.
Designed five posters, a mural, luggage tags, and a detailed map to immerse travelers in Long Island’s charm.
Created social media posts, videos, and geo-targeted ads to align with print materials and expand the campaign’s reach.
