UX/UI
Heifer International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty by providing sustainable agriculture and economic opportunities to communities worldwide. Their mission focuses on empowering families and strengthening local economies through resources such as livestock, seeds, and training. Inspired by their impactful work, I created a one-page website for the fictional fundraising event, Plates for Progress.
The event concept was a dinner gala where attendees began their experience with a simple, low-cost meal. As they donated more, their meals were elevated to higher-quality dishes, symbolizing the transformative power of giving. This interactive approach educated participants on food insecurity while encouraging them to take actionable steps to support Heifer’s initiatives.
The website design includes responsive layouts for both desktop and mobile platforms, ensuring accessibility for all users. Key features include an event schedule, donation impact stories, and an integrated reservation system, all designed to engage visitors and encourage participation. The site also emphasizes Heifer’s mission, providing a seamless blend of storytelling, education, and fundraising.
